Bellene!
The Potel story actually lives in two places at once, which is part of what makes it so compelling. Maison Roche de Bellene is the négociant arm, meaning Potel sourced the finest old-vine parcels from a trusted network of small growers across the Côte d'Or, all farmed organically or sustainably, and assembled them into wines that punch well above their appellation. It's the art of selection, knowing whose barrels are worth chasing in any given vintage. Domaine de Bellene is the other side of that coin, wines grown and bottled entirely from Potel's own private vineyard holdings, rooted in the same philosophy but expressing a single voice rather than a chorus. Two labels, one obsession with terroir. Both worth knowing.
