Established in 1893, Stags' Leap Winery is one of the oldest California wine estates within the Stags Leap District, and their Sauvignon Blanc has quietly become one of Napa Valley's most consistent expressions of the variety, drawing on fruit from Gamble Ranch in Oakville and additional parcels for complexity. Winemaker Christophe Paubert ferments a portion of the wine in neutral French oak and ages it on lees for added texture, with the balance going into stainless steel for freshness and minerality. Consistent with the estate's style across recent vintages, the 2025 is aromatic and food-friendly, showing a refreshing lift of crisp nectarines, tropical fruits, and a squeeze of pert citrus through a textural and mouthwatering finish.
