The first-ever vintage of Elivette is here, folks! We’re doing everything we can to not abuse our employee discount on this one, TBH. The winery price is $360 for just one bottle – but you can get one here for just under $100, OR two or more for ONLY $50 apiece! Plus, free shipping on three bottles or more!

At 26 years young, the very first and soon-to-be iconic Elivette was crafted in a monumental time with the turn of the millennium. Coming from the forested slopes of the Spring Mountain District, the best Bordeaux grapes were plucked from more than 800 acres of legendary vineyard land, hand-picked from a staggering array of elevations, exposures, clones, and rootstocks, and blended meticulously with ageability and elegance in mind. From there, the rest was history!

If there’s one Napa red that defines mountain-grown luxury, it’s Elivette – a legendary Bordeaux-style blend that stands alongside top growth Cab-dominant Bordeaux from the Left Bank. For those who seek out red wines that combine high-altitude vineyard elegance with premium pedigree, this is your chance to secure an exceptionally aged Napa Bordeaux blend of truly remarkable proportions! The winery discontinued the Elivette line a while back and cleared out their library, and our team just so happened to score the deal of a lifetime when we secured pretty much their full line-up.

This 2000 is still fresh as ever, but with plenty of tertiary goodness that will leave your mouth watering: a whole medley of roasted herbs like rosemary, marjoram, and thyme, then succulent red cherry sensations, followed by blackberries, and plums, with red currants and some fig jam. The finish is all graphite and smoky iron with a juicy and savory meatiness, and plenty of taut freshness that you’ll be amazed by once you try some! Pristinely aged, seriously limited, ex-chateau library reds at the sort of price that seems almost too good to be true... almost! With free shipping on three bottles – these collectible beauties are sure to make you the star of any gathering... while they last, that is!

PAIRING IDEAS: A big ol’ roasted rack of lamb with fresh rosemary and thyme will do juuuuust fine here.

About The Producer

A tapestry of time and place, Spring Mountain Vineyard weaves together three distinct chapters of history. Individual yet intertwined, each is a story of courage and discovery that ultimately created the foundation of our estate and shaped the heritage of this renowned appellation. As the Napa Valley wine industry awakened at the turn of the 20th century, the mystique and unparalleled beauty of Spring Mountain beckoned to the dreamers and visionaries. Over a span of just a few years, from 1872 to 1884, three impressive estates were founded on its slopes – La Perla, Chevalier, and Miravalle. The passionate pioneers of these properties literally pushed boundaries as they planted vines and erected stately wine cellars amongst the undulating terrain and dense forest land of this bucolic mountain. La Perla became home to the first Cabernet Sauvignon vines on Spring Mountain. Chevalier built a revolutionary gravity-flow winery. It was a period of innovation and optimism - a belief that this mountain could produce some of the best wine in the world.
