Selbach-Oster is one of the Mosel’s most elite names, and this dry 2019 bottling shows how beautifully the region can pivot from sweetness to razor-sharp trocken (dry) form. Crisp, clear, and ripe, it carries orchard fruit tones with a thirst-quenching mineral finish that feels tailor-made for the dinner table. A Mosel Riesling that's nimble, energetic, and sips all to easily.

About The Producer

With vine-growing roots stretching back to the 17th century, the Selbach family has cultivated vineyards along the Mosel since 1661. In the mid-20th century, the family established the Selbach-Oster estate as a dedicated winemaking domaine, honoring the long tradition of Selbach growers and the Oster coopers whose barrels once floated wine down the Mosel river. Today, Johannes and Barbara Selbach manage 24 hectares of steep, slate-rich vineyards in Zeltingen-Rachtig and neighboring villages, farming many old vines by hand and vinifying in large old oak barrels and stainless steel with minimal cellar intervention. The domaine’s wines have a profound sense of place, history, continuity, and craftsmanship.
