If you know wine, you know Raj Parr. The James Beard Award-winning sommelier, author, farmer, consultant, and now winemaker is one of the most influential people in wine today, bar none – and we’re enormous fans. His focus nowadays is on crafting low-intervention wines using organic and biodynamic farming methods – and his portfolio is as spectacular as his resume.

Today, we have an incredible 6-pack of some of his top bottlings from California’s Central Coast, delivered to you for UNDER $125, and a complete collection of wines that Raj Parr picked out himself—all wines he recommends for the holidays and everyday drinking.

It is said that Raj has tasted and sold more great wines than any winemaker in the country today. Among his many accomplishments and accolades, Raj has started and made wine for several highly regarded wineries throughout California and Oregon. Our 6-packs take wines from his Stolo Vineyards and Brij Wines labels, both located in California’s Central Coast region (Cambria and San Luis Obispo, respectively).

Brij is named to honor his father and sources organic grapes from heritage farms throughout SLO and California. Stolo started as a family winery and a pioneer in the Cambria area in 2002; Raj began consulting with them in 2021, soon purchasing the property and expanding, diversifying, and continuing the legacy the Stolo family first began. Raj’s philosophy is to use little to no manipulation in order to allow the terroir of each site to come through in his wines, and these 6 wines are an excellent representation of his style.

Stolo Syrah Creekside SLO Coast 2021 (WA95, WE93): Grown on dry-farmed Alban clone Syrah vines and fermented with 100% whole clusters, the medium-bodied wine is spicy, herbal, and blackberry-filled with lively energy, brisk acidity, and a lifted, minty tartness on the finish.

Brij Wines Grüner Veltliner Freund Santa Barbara County 2023 (WA91): Sourced from the North Canyon Vineyard in Santa Maria Valley, the wine is extremely light, stony, and quaffable, with notes of peaches, white strawberries, dried sage, river pebbles, and a spicy and bright finish.

Brij Wines Grenache Rosé SLO Coast 2024: Made of 100% Grenache grapes that are direct-pressed with minimal skin contact, the wine offers crushed raspberries, wild strawberries, lemon peel, and a zippy kick of spice on the finish.

Brij Wines Grüner Veltliner Freund SLO Coast 2024: After 24 hours of skin contact, the wine ferments and ages in 500-liter puncheons, using older barrels to allow the grape’s characteristics to shine – developing a stunning and crisp freshness with loads of citrus, some melon, and undertones of white flowers.

Stolo Pinot Noir SLO Coast 2023: Made with whole clusters and used oak, this pale ruby Pinot brings charming aromas and flavors of tart cherries, cranberries, orange peel, strawberry, thyme, and star anise. While this is a newer release, the 2021 vintage did receive 93 points from Wine Enthusiast.

Brij Wines Mourvèdre Enz Vineyard San Benito County 2023: From the historic Enz Vineyard in San Benito County, this is so incredibly delicious, round, and peppery. It’s not huge or unctuous, but instead very pure and fresh with black fruits and white pepper,  making it fantastic with game and perfect for holiday meals.

We can’t wait for you to pop these and see their incredible sense of place, authenticity, and artisanship!
