A more restrained, cool-toned expression with citrus, white peach, and struck-match minerality. The palate is taut yet layered, combining subtle oak with crystalline freshness. Complex and elegant, it promises graceful evolution over the next decade.

About The Producer

Greywacke was founded in 2009 by Kevin Judd, the pioneering winemaker behind Cloudy Bay, whose vision helped put Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc on the world stage. Named after the region’s distinctive greywacke river stones, the winery is dedicated to capturing the purity, texture, and vibrant character of New Zealand’s cool-climate terroir. Today, Greywacke is celebrated internationally for its benchmark Sauvignon Blancs as well as refined Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, combining Judd’s deep regional knowledge with a modern, artisanal touch.
