About The Producer

Finca Villacreces is a historic Spanish estate in the heart of Ribera del Duero whose winemaking roots go back to at least the 14th century and later became an agricultural property before being revitalized for quality wine production in the early 2000s. Acquired by the Antón family in 2004, who already owned respected Rioja and Toro wineries, Villacreces underwent careful restoration of its vineyards and winery, embracing organic farming across much of its holdings and expanding into the prime “Golden Mile” with the Pinos Claros acquisition. Today the estate blends its rich heritage with modern winemaking, producing expressive, balanced Ribera del Duero wines from organically farmed vines amid a dramatic landscape of the Duero river and ancient pine forests, with a strong commitment to sustainability and meticulous estate control.
