Le Bois Roussot has always been the most forward and seductive site in the Cornu cellar, perched high on the slope right next to Grand Cru Corton-Rognet, facing southeast toward the village of Ladoix. You can feel that pedigree in the glass — power, lift, and polish all working together. It’s bold yet refined, structured but incredibly drinkable, and honestly, one of the best values I’ve seen in red Burgundy in a long time.

You simply won’t find a better Premier Cru at this price. This is for collectors, Burgundy lovers, and anyone who wants to drink like they know what they’re doing. We landed a solid parcel, but wines like this don’t hang around — and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Deep, inky purple with lavish floral aromatics and ripe plum berry fruit jumping from the glass. The palate is vibrant and crunchy, layered with dark cherry, subtle toasted oak, and acidity that keeps everything lifted. Easy-drinking yet structured and nuanced — a Burgundy that will absolutely resonate with Russian River Pinot Noir fans and Grand Cru Burg enthusiasts.

Grab a sixer and ride off into the sunset knowing you did very well today — Grand Cru neighbor Burgundy at a price that feels like a mistake.
