Once an insider secret, DuMOL has evolved into an exceptional, cult-favorite Sonoma staple. We’re simply elated to present their stunning new 2024 Wester Reach Chardonnay release!
Since its inception in 1996, DuMOL has focused primarily on single-vineyard and regional expressions of carefully farmed Russian River Valley plots. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay reign supreme, but they also craft spectacular, small-lot, cool-climate Syrah. Their focus has always been vineyard-driven, and chief winegrower and partner Andy Smith has built the DuMOL reputation on a hierarchy that always starts in the dirt.
“Our winemaking technique is secondary to what we achieve in the field.” –Andy Smith
And achieve they have! The "Wester Reach" bottling represents a prodigious showing of regional blending, capturing the pure, vibrant essence of the valley's finest cool-climate sites. The 2024 is a total knockout balance of crisp acidity and rich texture.
These wines are highly allocated and fiercely collected – and we’re more than a little excited that our allocation has finally arrived. We don’t have much, but for those who hurry, these offer some of the most complex, Burgundian expressions of Sonoma County to be found anywhere. Shop quickly, and choose wisely – these fine gems of the Russian River Valley will surely not hang around for long!
