Voluptuous and fragrant, this Grand Cru brims with ripe raspberry, violet, and a touch of savory earth, all wrapped in elegant tannins. As always with Raphet, it’s ultra-traditional and heartbreakingly scarce.
About The Producer
Domaine Gerard Raphet was established in the 1920's and has been producing outstanding Burgundy since then. Gerard Raphet is a Burgundy lover's Burgundy. Don't be fooled by the delicate ruby color, their wines are packed with forceful intensity. Highly sought after, Raphet Burdungy shows what great, age-worthy, old vine Burgundy can do. Winemaking has been a passed down tradition of this family, with none of the Raphets ever going to enology school. The winery is now at the helm of Gerard and his daughter Marion who also helps out in the cellar.
