The 2019 is a more generous, open-knit expression of Montée de Tonnerre, balancing ripe citrus and white peach with the vineyard’s hallmark mineral spine. It’s a beautifully layered wine, where sun-kissed fruit and subtle lees notes mingle with sea breeze freshness. Already showing incredible charm, this vintage offers earlier drinking appeal while maintaining Raveneau’s signature elegance and depth.

About The Producer

François Raveneau established the domaine in 1948 by combining vineyards that he had purchased with vineyards owned by the family of his wife, who was part of the Dauvissat wine family. The wines are a rare find—exceptional because the vineyard holdings are almost entirely made of grand cru and premier cru fruit.
