Widely considered one of the most coveted Premier Crus in all of Burgundy, Aux Malconsorts sits directly adjacent to the legendary Grand Cru La Tâche, sharing its famous iron-rich clay-limestone soils and extraordinary microclimate. Domaine Dujac’s iteration of this vineyard is an absolute legend. Crafted using their signature whole-cluster fermentation, it offers a resoundingly complex nose of dark cherries, crushed violets, Vosne spice, and refined mineral depth. The 2012 vintage was marked by famously small yields that produced wines of exceptional concentration, fine-grained structure, and vibrant tension, placing this bottle squarely in its prime drinking window while maintaining the muscle to cellar for decades.

Founded in 1967 by Jacques Seysses, Domaine Dujac quickly rose to prominence through meticulous viticulture and a signature whole-cluster style. Now led by the next generation, the estate has embraced organic farming and refined its use of oak and extraction. Today, Dujac stands as one of Burgundy’s premier domaines, effortlessly balancing tradition with thoughtful evolution.

Given the scarcity of mature allocations from Domaine Dujac, we are thrilled to offer even a very small inventory of this 2012 release at $725 (typically found near $950 retail). With only 6 bottles available, it is an unusual chance to add an exceptionally cellared and sincerely iconic Burgundy to your cellar. Do what you must to lay claim to this beaut!

About The Producer

Domaine Dujac is one of Burgundy’s most compelling modern success stories, founded in 1967 by Jacques Seysses, an outsider to the region who transformed a modest 4.5-hectare holding into a benchmark Côte de Nuits estate. Through careful expansion into some of the region’s most prized Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards—including Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis, and Vosne-Romanée—the domaine steadily built a reputation for wines of depth, finesse, and longevity. Today, under the stewardship of the next generation—Jeremy and Alec Seysses alongside Diana Seysses—the estate has fully embraced organic farming and a more nuanced approach in the cellar, dialing in oak use and extraction to emphasize purity of terroir. Widely regarded as one of Burgundy’s elite producers, Domaine Dujac continues to balance its pioneering spirit with a refined, site-driven philosophy that keeps it firmly at the top of the region.
