The Surber Vineyard in Calistoga produces a rich and expressive Cabernet Sauvignon with lush black cherry, plum, and baking spice aromas. Layers of vanilla and mocha from oak aging add complexity, while velvety tannins provide a smooth, lingering finish. This wine embodies the warm, sun-drenched climate of northern Napa Valley, offering both approachability and depth.

About The Producer

Conn Creek’s passion for Bordeaux-style red wines began back in 1973, thanks to founders Bill and Kathy Collins. They were part of a pioneering group that sparked a renaissance in Napa Valley, helping to put the region on the map for fine wine. By 1979, the Collins family had built what we now know as Conn Creek Winery in the Rutherford appellation. This innovative, energy-efficient facility was likely Napa Valley’s first “green” winery, featuring 12-inch thick walls made from Styrofoam, steel mesh, gunite, and around 20,000 corks. Today, nearly four decades later, Conn Creek remains dedicated to what Napa Valley excels at: producing outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon and other Bordeaux varietals.
