Following the almost impossible act of the 2020, Figeac's 2021 shows that this estate isn't resting on any laurels: Decanter landed at 97, Wine Advocate at 96+, and several other critics piled on in the mid to upper 90s. The 2021 is more restrained and precise than its predecessor, showing Figeac's elegant, Cabernet inflected Saint-Émilion style in a vintage built for finesse over power. A worthy successor to one of the greatest runs in Bordeaux recent memory.
