The Hommage was created in tribute to the late Jacques Perrin and is made only in the very greatest vintages, crafted around exceptionally old Mourvèdre vines from the Courrieux plot, some planted in 1909. The 2017 is a more forward, charming expression of this cuvée, its ripeness lifted by the estate's clay soils in a hot, dry year.

Made in small quantities and first introduced with the 1989 vintage, Hommage Jacques Perrin (formerly known as Hommage à Jacques Perrin) is one of the great wines of France. This wine is a very special wine only made in exceptional vintages to honor and celebrate Jacques Perrin (4th generation) of the Famille Perrin. Jacques Perrin led, preserved the history and largely contributed to the success of Chateau de Beaucastel as we now know it today. Although the history of Chateau Beaucastel dates back to the 16th century. Now, the winery is still a family affair with the 5th generation collaboratlively making more magic together.
