About The Producer

Bodegas Aalto, established in 1999 in the heart of Ribera del Duero, represents a modern benchmark for Spanish winemaking. Founded by Mariano García, the former winemaker of Vega Sicilia, and Javier Zaccagnini, a seasoned industry leader, the winery was built on a shared vision to craft world-class Tempranillo. Aalto sources grapes from meticulously selected old vineyards across seven villages, many over 60 years old, planted on diverse soils that impart distinct complexity to the wines. Employing sustainable practices and precise winemaking techniques, Aalto produces wines that seamlessly marry power and elegance. Today, the estate is globally recognized for its Aalto and Aalto PS bottlings, celebrated for their depth, structure, and ability to age gracefully.
