About The Producer
Angelo Germano founded the winery Germano Angelo who was encouraged by his grandfather, Teobaldo who was the roots of the family winemaking tradition. The Germano family has been very active in the history of Barolo. Angelo's son, David Germano also founded the Consortium for the protection of Barolo and Barbaresco. A couple of generations have passed and the Germano family has been producing wines in Barolo for five generations. The winery is now run by David Germano Jr. who has transformed the winery with new state of the art equipment and has restructured the vineyards and is dedicated to producing quality wines in the cellar. His sister, Viviana Germano runs the marketing of the winery and has re-designed the companies image.
