Mon Trajet Winery is known for producing high-quality wines, such as their 2022 Chardonnay from the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. This wine hails from the Bentrock Vineyard, located just a few miles inland from the coast near Lompoc. The vineyard's well-drained diatomaceous earth soils and the natural gap between hill ranges allow coastal winds to slow down the ripening process, resulting in grapes with pronounced minerality and bold, crisp acidity. The 2022 Chardonnay exhibits aromas of pencil lead, melon, and marzipan, complemented by flavors of stone fruit and honeydew on the palate.
