Thoughtfully sourced fruit from the windswept and ruggedly beautiful Sonoma Coast, vinified by the fabled Jean Hoefliger, comes together in this zippy, piquant, and elegant expression of Sauvignon Blanc. 93 points and under $20 (with free shipping) for orders of 4 bottles or more makes for one heck of a divine summertime Sauvy B spree!

Jason Driscoll is the owner of this small family project, along with his wife, Hillary, and a few friends. He’s a Culinary Institute of America-trained chef who did an internship in Napa Valley and fell in love with wine, and he’s been making minimalistic, non-interventionist, rip-roaringly tasty wines ever since. For this vivacious and spry Sauvignon Blanc, however, it was the enduring and celebrated winemaker Jean Hoefliger to craft this 93-point, Sonoma Coast stunner. This is a guy who has a lion’s share of 100-point scores to his name, and his prowess and passion is felt in every sip of this carefully crafted wine.

This is a Sauvignon Blanc that might just jet its way to the top of the list of everything you love about summer! Boasting a crunchy, mineral-driven edge, it’s ripe and intensely fruit-driven, with waves of peaches and nectarines followed by a tropical burst of mango and passion fruit, before winding down with a zippy finale of zesty orange and Ruby Red grapefruit. A round kiss of honey-drizzled marzipan brings it all together, and may just make this one of the fastest-disappearing bottles you’ll open all summer. Under $20 with free shipping on 4 or more bottles is a steal considering the careful sourcing, craftsmanship, and pedigree of this! Load up while we still have ‘em!

PAIRING IDEAS: Enjoy a green apple and frisée salad with honey lemon vinaigrette alongside this coastal delight!

About The Producer
