Domaine Georges Noëllat is a historic Vosne estate revitalized in recent years, now guided by a new generation focused on elevating quality and expression. Once known for selling fruit or bulk wine, the domaine has shifted toward estate bottling and meticulous vineyard work. Today, it is gaining recognition for wines that emphasize purity, site transparency, and a more refined stylistic direction.
About The Producer
Domaine Georges Noëllat carries a storied legacy in the Côte de Nuits and Vosne-Romanée, with vines that include century-old parcels across prestigious villages and premier and grand cru sites. In the 20th century, much of the estate’s fruit was sold to notable négociants, but in 2010 a new chapter began when Maxime Cheurlin, grandson of Marie-Thérèse Noëllat, took over winemaking and stewardship. He brought heightened focus to viticulture and cellar practices, hand-harvesting and using native yeasts to produce wines that are both refined and terroir-driven. Today the domaine’s holdings—including Aux Boudots in Nuits-Saint-Georges and Les Chaumes in Vosne-Romanée—are regarded for their elegance and sense of place, with a growing international reputation among Burgundy enthusiasts.
