Today, we have a stupendous 100-POINT Sauvignon Blanc from the masterful hands of winemakers Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky. This is one of the best expressions of Sauvignon Blanc from anywhere in the world – and certainly in this country – from a revered label and one of the all-time greatest recent vintages. It makes sense, as Robin Daniel Lail seems to have great wine in her blood. Her great-granduncle, Captain Gustav Niebaum, founded Inglenook Vineyards in 1879, which quickly grew to become known as one of the finest wineries in the country. Though Inglenook sold in 1964, Robin has maintained her family’s respect for and dedication to crafting elegant and authentic wines in the Napa Valley within Lail Vineyards, founded in 1995 with her two daughters.

Lail’s fine Cabernet Sauvignons consistently attract the attention of the mightiest Napa Cab savants anywhere, but their Georgia Sauvignon Blanc has garnered an equally passionate following for its searing minerality, intense aromas, and graceful texture. We have fewer than three cases at our incredibly special First Bottle price, and these are certain to move with great speed. Check those high-flying reviews below, and then get what you can, while you can!

About The Producer

Robin Daniel Lail’s heritage began in 1879 with the founding of Inglenook Vineyards by her great-granduncle, the iconic Captain Gustave Niebaum. Robin is a legend, helping found Dominus and Merryvale, she is one of the most influential women in Napa Valley history and remains that way to this day. She saw the talent in a young Philippe Melka and hired him as winemaker, it was one of his very first gigs in Napa and has remained at the helm of winemaking ever since.
