The 2008 Camaspelo is a Bordeaux-style blend with Cayuse flair, offering aged cassis, cedar, and savory herb notes. Silky tannins frame a balanced palate. It’s drinking at peak maturity now.

About The Producer

Cayuse Vineyards was founded in 1997 by French vigneron Christophe Baron, who recognized the untapped potential of the rocky, cobblestone soils in Walla Walla’s “Stone Cairn” region of Oregon and Washington. Planting vines where few thought they could thrive, Baron pioneered a distinctive style of biodynamically farmed, Rhône-inspired wines that are now among the most coveted in the U.S. The estate is renowned for its limited-production Syrah, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon, each marked by a unique sense of place and the signature “minerality” of Cayuse’s stony terroir. Today, Cayuse stands as one of the Pacific Northwest’s most iconic and collectible producers.
