Exceedingly rare and highly coveted, this Mazoyères needs years to really show its stuff but the greatness is evident already with skyscraper like structure and mouth-coating tannins. In their 97 point review, Wine Advocate proclaimed, "It has a majestic bouquet with bold black cherry and blueberry fruit, superb delineation and it conveys an almost infectious sense of energy...Outstanding."

About The Producer

The Dugat family have been winegrowers in the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation since the beginning of the 17th century. Bernard Dugat is the 12th generation to exploit the unique knowledge of wine-making and working in the vines, which has been acquired over four centuries. His son is now working alongside him.
