About The Producer
Bella Union is a winery that specializes in blending Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It was founded in 2012 by the partners of Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel, who have extensive experience in growing and producing Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery is located on a 25-acre vineyard on Bella Oaks Lane in Rutherford, a well-known area for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. The name Bella Union pays tribute to the history of the location, which was once known as Bella Union Roadway and led to the Bella Union Mining Company in the 1880s. The winery was created with the goal of creating a harmonious blend of vineyards and varietals that complement Cabernet Sauvignon across the Napa Valley.
