Ever the one to face a challenge and explore new possibilities, he took his lifelong love of food, cooking, and working in restaurants throughout his adolescence, and enrolled in the enology program at UC Davis in his late 30s when he was ready for one final career curveball. The following internships, apprenticeships, and, finally, winemaking jobs for some of the most applauded names in the industry in France and Napa Valley led him down the path to ultimately launching his own brand – and what a success that has been.
