After Howard’s passing in 2017, Jessica carried the winery forward as owner and winemaker.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Kalita Vineyard sits in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of the Willamette Valley, and Et Fille has been plucking it as a vineyard-designate for years. Originally owned by Arthur and Sherry Kalita, the site is now owned by pioneering family-owned Oregon estate, Sokol Blosser. Et Fille is the only producer that kept its blocks after that change in ownership, and Decanter has aptly professed that Jessica is among the most experienced winemakers in the Valley with Kalita fruit.
