McPrice Myers Bull by The Horns Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 - First Bottle

Reviews

91 Vinous -
Opaque maroon. Expressive blackberry and cherry liqueur scents take on a subtle vanilla accent as the wine opens up. Juicy and seamless in texture, offering plush dark fruit and spice-cake flavors and a musky, sweetening touch of chewing tobacco. Finishes long and velvety, with well-knit, polished tannins making a late appearance.
91 Wine Enthusiast -
Blackberry, lilac, cinnamon and clove aromas converge on the complex nose of this bottling. The palate ranges from hibiscus and cherry to strawberry and rose petals, with plenty of layers to keep the taste buds entertained.

McPrice "Mac" Myers continues to impress as one of the most progressive and even-handed winemakers on the Central Coast, with a love for Paso Robles and Santa Barbara County vineyards and a keen eye for VALUE. Best of both worlds! We have about 29 cases to sell (we sold out of the ‘17 in record time!) -- please jump on this while we have it!

About the Producer

McPrice "Mac" Myers became a complete food and wine geek in his early twenties. This led him to frequent sojourns to the Central Coast, where he became a quick study of the burgeoning wine scene. Mac’s first vintage was 2002. His enthusiasm for the local vineyards in Paso Robles and Santa Barbara County was matched only by the lure of the Rhone Valley. Mac’s own wines received overnight praise from the wine press-at-large. With a keen eye on the future of California vineyards and a respectful nod to the Old World, Mac continues to impress as one of the most progressive and even-handed winemakers on the Central Coast.
