"Single vineyard old-vine Carignan rosé BRILLIANCE from an up-and-comer! Not to be missed!

Man, we love living in Napa! This deal fell into our lap when a local winemaker turned us on to this hip new project, and it is one of the best '19 rosés we've tasted this year! For $15, this is something you should case stack in your garage or under your house or in your underground bunker...it's so damn good! Just 100 cases were made and we bought everything they would sell us. You won't find this anywhere else!

ThereAfter tells the story of an Italian and an American who met while studying winemaking in France. After years of working in great wineries around the world, they combined forces to farm tiny vineyard plots by hand and make vibrant, expressive wine from Northern California. They are champions of organic and regenerative farming, and are the types of winemakers with dirt under their nails and smiles on their faces.

Seventy-year-old gnarled Carignan vines from the Bartolomei Vineyard just outside of Ukiah are the key to this mouth-coating, yet fresh and scintillating bottle of liquid sunshine. This is a far cry from the bleed-off rosés (originally destined for the drain pipes) that masquerade as rosé these days...this is the real deal. Just an hour on the skins, then whole-cluster pressed, native yeast fermentation and neutral barrel aging. Look for fresh watermelon and grapefruit aromas mingling with Meyer lemon, pomegranate and white cherry flavors; this is beautiful and pure with salivating acidity and great length for a rosé."
