The name Ramonet sends chills down the spines of white Burgundy lovers around the world. If you're reading this, you are likely are feeling those goose bumps like we are as we write this. We have but a few bottles allocated of their lovely 1er Cru Saint Aubin. 2017 was a fantastic vintage for white Burgundy, but it was particularly extraordinary in cooler appellations like Saint Aubin. This is lovely.
About the Producer
Renowned winemaker Pierre Ramonet established Domaine Ramonet in the 1930s in the Cote de Beaune region of Burgundy. Over the past 70 years, the iconic winery has expanded to include 15 hectares of prized Chardonnay vineyards, and has been passed down to Pierre's two grandsons, Noel and Jean-Claude, who run the winery today.
