Ramonet Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru 2013 - First Bottle

Reviews

94 Wine Spectator -
An elegant style, this evokes white peach, apple, lemon and baking spice flavors, heightened by a core of vibrant acidity. Effortless yet intense, with a long, refreshing aftertaste. Best from 2017 through 2028. 16 cases imported.
94 Vinous -
Pale, bright lemon-yellow. Reticent, high-pitched perfume of lemon, fresh pear, crushed rock and lavender. At once seamless and tight, conveying a high pitch to its intense flavors of minerals, citrus fruits, green apple and oatmeal. Almost painfully concentrated but this wine also shows a compelling creaminess of texture supported by superb inner-mouth mineral energy and lift. Wonderfully suave, brisk, tactile and long on the palate-saturating aftertaste. Tightened up considerably with air.
