Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
From rockstar Bibiana Gonzalez Rave (formerly of Pahlmeyer, Wayfarer and San Francisco Chronicle Winemaker of the Year) - nice scores, easy-drinking, crazy reasonable pricing! This is a Cabernet/Syrah/Merlot blend that packs a serious punch, even at the same head-spinningly wonderful price of $26.95. How does she do it? Silky blackberry/boysenberry fruit extract, dark spices and mocha, it's rich and immensely satisfying. CRAZY good. For near term enjoyment, this is a no-brainer mix and match 12-pack with free shipping. Sort it any way you like!! But do it quickly -- we have about 15 cases of each wine to sell!

“Cattleya” is named after Colombia's national flower, where Bibiana was born and raised. While she cut her teeth in Bordeaux, she came to be the consulting winemaker at the prestigious Pahlmeyer and Wayfarer before going out on her own and starting Cattleya (and also Shared Notes, with her husband, Jeff Pisoni who certainly knows his way around a barrel) in 2012. She is one of the up-and-coming superstars in the California wine industry. One of the top values in California wine today! See for yourself!

About the Producer

Born and raised in Colombia, Bibiana Gonzalez Ravehad little exposure to wine culture. But by the age of 14, she knew she would become a winemaker. In Colombia, she studied chemical engineering and business. She later moved to France to study viticulture and oenology. She earned a bachelor's degree at the University of Bordeaux, graduating with honors. In 2012, she created her first label, Cattleya, as an homage to her home country, naming it after the national flower of Colombia. Her newest venture is Alma de Cattleya.
