Ambriel Classic Cuvee Sparkling Wine (England) NV
“It's pure class.” Arguably England’s finest sparkling wine house (we encourage you to Google it and check out the other critical acclaim and press on this winery), we are all abuzz about this here at the office (the employees are buying a lot of it!). Near the southern coast of England, this is perfect for sparkling wine production -- especially with a string of warmer growing seasons evident over the last decade.
Grown on a south facing slope of well-draining and heat-retaining Greensand soils that are very unique to this area, this is 100% estate grown and produced. You all know our fascination with Farmer Fizz around here, so this got our attention from the outset. Once you pop the cork however, the quality just oozes from the glass and the comparisons to Champagne are obvious. After all, they do share a very similar climate and geology (save these Greensand soils). This is a linear and racy style bubbly that bursts with citrus, green apple, and liquified rock, the finish is long and classy. This is the perfect aperitif wine and one that might cause some brain rattling with this Oysters Moscow recipe.
Mix and match a six pack with some other Champagne for free ground shipping and let the debate ensue! $39.95! $239.70 a 6-pack w/ free ground shipping!
