Domaine Drouhin Roserock Chardonnay 2016 - First Bottle

Reviews

94 James Suckling -
Super fresh aromas of lemon and lime zest, leading to fresh white peaches. This has a very impressive sense of purity and clarity that follows to the fresh, linear palate. Impressively refined chardonnay. Drink now.
92 WIne Enthusiast -
Editor's Choice: Domaine Drouhin Oregon's new Eola-Amity wine continues to impress. Supple, seductive and rippled with kiwi, apple, citrus and melon flavors, it's nicely ripe and well melded. The barrel influence is modest, which perfectly suits fruit this good.

About the Producer

The Drouhin Family's winemaking roots run deep, having taken hold in Burgundy's best vineyards more than a century ago. Through the years, there has been a very clear link, a continuum, that inhabits Maison Joseph Drouhin, and now Domaine Drouhin Oregon.

The Drouhin family started an estate winery in the Dundee Hills 30 years ago seeing great potential because of the striking correlation between the Willamette Valley and their home turf. They have now firmly established a lasting presence in the region where they craft elegant pinot noir and chardonnay, forged from their family's tradition of fine winemaking. Now celebrating 30 years in the Willamette Valley, the Drouhin Family has brought a wealth of hard-earned experience to their vineyards and have become a stalwart of the region.
