La Ca' Nova Barbaresco 2016
Wow. We are in SHOCK at how good these wines are. Madness to even consider skipping this offer. VERY LIMITED! Barbaresco has ARRIVED, people. These wines are off-the-charts and still priced relatively low (compared to Barolo), and if there was EVER a vintage to buy, it is ‘16. "The 2016s, wines from a potentially historic vintage, may very well put Barbaresco on the map big time. As I traveled from producer to producer, I experienced that sense of excitement and energy I always feel when in the presence of important vintages and wines...The late harvest, in October, yielded Barbarescos of extraordinary aromatic intensity, depth and structure that will repay cellaring. Moreover, the wines are deeply expressive of site, which, in my view, is one of the pre-requisites for a truly great Piedmont vintage.” --- Antonio Galloni, VINOUS
La Ca’ Nova has been a savvy insider Barbaresco producer until now. They are making the best wines of their lives here, from two of the most important crus in the region (Montefico and Montestefano) and we must INSIST you get some. Outrageously excellent wines! Read the reviews below and just…HURRY!About the Producer
Pietro Rocca, a fourth generation grape grower began making and bottling Barbarescos in the 1970s. Today, Pietro is joined by his sons, Marco, an enologist, and Ivan, an agronomist who tends to the vineyards. This estate has quietly been making outstanding, terroir-driven Barbarescos for generations from two of the denomination's top crus, Montestefano and Montefico.
