Peter Michael Sauvignon Blanc l`Apres Midi 2018
Peter Michael, and similarly rare and collectible wines from Aubert, Marcassin, and Morlet all share an interesting thread. Helen Turley was the first winemaker (and literally made them cult wines overnight). Her assistant was Mark Aubert, who made the wines for some years, and HE worked with Luc Morlet, who made the wines after Mark left, and Luc trained his brother, Nick Morlet who is the current winemaker. Crazy, huh? Napa is a small valley! Rest assured, the opulent, rich, pure, and brilliant style has stayed consistent. Ripe citrus, zesty, juicy tropicality, killer freshness!
Offering you 120 bottles at a very modest $64.95! Crazy we got any at all! We're still a bit smitten over here if you can't tell. While it lasts…!About the Producer
In 1982, after a six year search, Sir Peter Michael and Lady Michael purchased 630 acres of volcanic ridges on the western face of Mount St. Helena in Knights Valley. Drawing inspiration from the great wineries of Burgundy and Bordeaux, the family hired like-minded viticulturists and winemakers to help them create terroir-driven wines that would stand the test of time.
