Oakville Winegrowers Oakville Cuvee 2015 (Double Magnum 3L)

Cabernet Blends  |  US

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
We’re speechless. Only 100 magnums and 50 double magnums made -- the unbelievably rare OAKVILLE GROWERS super-cuvee! If you need something TRULY UNIQUE for your cellar or as a gift to the wine geek who has it all...DO NOT MISS THIS!

There is NO OTHER bottling like it, anywhere. You are talking about Harlan Estate, Screaming Eagle, Bond, OPUS, Dalla Valle, Harbison, Peter Michael, Futo, Bevan, Accendo, Heitz, Paradigm and many more. Read on...but be advised we literally have but a few of each of these to offer...first come, first served. WOW!

Here is a quick link to the Oakville Growers website for the rundown, but in a nutshell: Since 2005, the acclaimed member wineries of the Oakville Winegrowers Association have contributed small lots of their finest Cabernet Sauvignon to blend a micro-production of 50 double magnums and 100 magnums of the Oakville Cuvee, selected and blended by a different winemaker and winery each year. The Cuvée offers the collector an extraordinary opportunity to experience the best of Napa Valley’s premier growing region. We tasted the 2015 several months ago and have been on a mission to secure a few for the most hardcore collectors on our mailing list -- TODAY it is here. Brilliant!

Is it lush, powerful, layered and deeply complex?? OH YES. A fascinating and delicious cuvee that will impress the most jaded Cabernet collector...

Each bottle is etched and numbered. A crazy-unique gift for the collector who has everything. Perfect cellar centerpieces, I might add. This will NOT be seen again!

About the Producer

In the very heart of the Napa Valley lies the town of Oakville. Once a steam train stop in the late 1800s, Oakville owes its name to the dense groves of native oak which once blanketed the area. One hundred years later, the Oakville name is synonymous with excellence in winemaking. A unique combination of soil, topography and climate join together here, creating an environment that makes Oakville a viticultural treasure. But the proof of Oakville’s status as a world-class grape-growing region is the number of great Napa Valley wineries that have planted their vineyards here. While mother nature has provided the key ingredients, a group of Vintners and Growers who are dedicated to crafting the highest quality of wine from the Oakville soil have emerged. In 2005 the idea to create a wine was born when winery members each contributed 5 gallons of their wine and a chosen winemaker was in charge of assembling the blend from all of the parts. Nothing like this exists in the wine world today.
