It's wines like this that are putting Castillon, in the Cotes de Bordeaux on the map. Drink this all day, every day! We taste a LOT of Bordeaux around here, and we buy a lot Chateau-direct too. Let's just say we kiss a lot of frogs to bring you the princes. This was something we tacked onto a larger order, simply because we tasted and LOVED it, and were basically wide-eyed in shock at the price we scored. It blew away several high-brow classified growths that will remain unamed. DRINK THIS with utter abandon!! This was not submitted to the press so you are going to have to take our word for it -- this will not dissapoint!

Chateau Clarisse is better known for their high-profile St. Emilion winery where the highly-respected super-consultant Stephane Derenoncourt consults, as he does here. The same attention to detail and "no expenses spared" mentality applied at the St. Emilion property are applied here. For near-term, delicious, sexy Bordeaux drinking, we have yet to find a better deal than this. IMPRESSIVE!
