The 2016 Meursault Sous la Velle (Anne Boisson) offers up a pretty bouquet of white flowers, almond paste, pear and crisp peach, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny palate with excellent concentration, chewy extract, and terrific length. The frost is reflected by a touch of additional texture and concentration, but the wine's balance remains very classical. This is well worth seeking out.

Broad and yet refined and well defined and nothing short of classic. About the Producer
Domaine Boisson-Vadot is one of the finest, outstanding small producers in the village of Meursault that are not particularly well known beyond their native France, but which produce stellar examples of Meursault. The estate is currently run by the father and son team of Bernard and Pierre Boisson, who turn out between three and four thousand cases of wine per year.
