They may have gained recognition as a chard and pinot house but the single vineyard zinfandels are just stellar. Asd Wine Advocate stated in their 96 point review, the Dina's Zin has, "arresting, gorgeous floral scents of violets, lavender and roses with a core of cherry cordial, blueberry compote, blackberry tart and dried mulberries plus wafts of spice box and and dark chocolate. About the Producer

Hartford's wines are rare. Year after year, they rank among the most sought-after collectibles from California. Since the 1994 vintage, owners Don and Jenny Hartford have built the winery's reputation on limited-production, handmade, single-vineyard Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and Old Vine Zinfandels from some of Northern California's greatest vineyards. In addition to fruit from their own estate, Hartford harvests fruit from a handful of prized vineyards throughout the Russian River Valley, Green Valley, Carneros, Sonoma Coast, Anderson Valley, and Marin County. All are high-reputation, low-yielding, sustainably farmed sites situated in cool climates.
