Forman Chardonnay 2005 (Double Magnum - 3L)

What a treat it was when Ric offered some 3 Liters of his zippy Chardonnay from deep in his cold damp cellar. We quickly obliged and are excited to show off Ric's uncanny skill at crafting age-worthy wines to you. This is an extreme rarity from Ric's personal stash. We opened one of these beauties for our sister companies 10-year anniversary party and we were BLOWN AWAY. This is THE GREATEST aged chardonnay from Napa Valley I have ever had save Stony Hill. Not a surprise considering Ric consulted for Stony Hill in his early days. This is all sourced from the old vines in the Star Vineyard in Rutherford. Malolactic conversion is intentionally blocked in these wines to maintain freshness. We'd put this wine up against any white Burg from 2005 (most of which will be premoxed)! This is the real deal!
