Lerner Project Proprietary Red Napa Valley 2016

Cabernet Blends  |  US

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
SPECIAL: $195 down to $165 on two or more bottles! This is made from 95% Sugarloaf Mountain vineyard, and is one of the standouts in Lerner the lineup. It has rock-laden volcanic soils with southwest exposures and has a super cool microclimate. Russell really nailed the winemaking on this one, not that we wouldn't expect it from a vineyard he seems to have mastered. "A blend built on Cab Franc with just enough Merlot and Cabernet to balance the exotic red cherry, currant and blackberry with the fine grained textures and incisive minerality." -- Russell Bevan

About the Producer

At Lerner project the team is small but they all share the same passion and work ethic for producing wine that demonstrates the characteristics of the vine, soil and climate of Napa Valley. Proprietor Stu Lerner and his wife Karen have a deep appreciation for Napa Valley and the wines that are produced. They turned their dreams into reality when they created the Lerner Project. Their goals are to showcase the individuality of each vineyard and the unique characteristics inherent to each plot.
