…...aaaand it’s $35. Under $200 a 6-pack DELIVERED. Wicked! Get a case! I did!

Seriously, how often can you serve true “whoa, what is THIS??!!" wine to your buds for $35? 94-96 points? C’mon. You can read the Mas Gabinele story on our site, but it’s a relatively new project from a third-generation winemaker from a particularly excellent part of the Faugères appellation (Laurens) with very low yields. You’ll see what the fuss is all about when you taste it --- deep, dark and wild, with loads of pure blue/black fruits, spice and layers of sweet herby complexity. A THRILL RIDE! Absolutely amazing at our price...best to load up as fast as you can...while it lasts...!

About the Producer

Mas Gabinèle is a small vineyard located on the commune of Laurens, in the heart of the Faugères appellation in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. This part of the Languedoc, situated at the base of the Cévennes is quite hilly and the vineyards are surrounded by scrublands of garrigue: white oak (with truffles if you’re lucky) rosemary, thyme and cistus. The soils of Mas Gabinèle are Laurent-Cabrières sandstone-schist. A type of metamorphosed rock that is quite poor in nutrients and rather dry and sandy so the yields are tiny.

Thierry Rodriguez, the grandson of a winemaker bought his first vineyard in Faugères in 1997 and over the last two decades he has expanded the size of Mas Gabinèle to 59 acres of vines, of which only 49 are currently in production.
