An extraordinarily spicy and complex nose evidences cool, fresh and admirably pure aromas of cassis, red berries and plum. There is a floral note on the remarkably rich, concentrated and extract-rich flavors that really coat the palate on the dusty, long and impressively deep finish. A classic Beze and well worth considering.

This one is going to need a bit more time to come into its own but when it does, prepare yourself. 92-95 points from the stingy Allen Meadows of Burghound is a testament to the quality in the bottle here.

One of the top producers in the Grand Cru laden village of Gevrey Chambertin, Drouhin-Laroze has been continuously family run and operated for 163 years, with the 6th generation now at the helm. With significant holdings in 6 different Grand Crus, they farm some of the most prized Pinot land on the planet.
