Reviews

96 James Suckling -
Shows aromas and flavors of stones, sliced apples and pears with citrus and lemons. Honeysuckle and minerally undertones. Medium-to full-bodied, layered and deep. Round yet tight on the palate. Crunchy flavors. Drink or hold.

Made by Jean-Marc Roulot? What? Yes, that is correct, the Burgundian mastermind teamed up with Piero Incisa della Rocchetta on this amazing, organic and biodynamic farmed site in remote Patagonia. Mostly planted to pinot noir, the small amount of chardonnay that is planted there where it is at! We absolutely flipped for this with its precise bouquet of spring flowers, citus zest and gunflint aromas. It is so fresh and electric in the mouth this is near impossible to put down. Packed with minerality and complexity the finish on this wine goes on for dayz.

About the Producer

Chacra was created by Piero Incisa della Rocchetta in 2004 with the intention of finding the most unobstructed expression of the climate, micro-climate, and terrior of Mainque in the Rio Negro region of Patagonia.
