We were thrilled to grab a bit of wine from the cellars at Jaffe -- their beautiful estate vineyard is located on the southern edge of the St. Helena AVA, tucked back near the base of the Mayacamas, bordering the Rutherford bench on the south side of the vineyard. It’s quite rare to have access to cases like this in such PRISTINE condition!

Made by winemaker David DeSante, with an eye to Bordeaux for structure and balance and longevity in mind, you will be stunned by the delicious life in this wine (and years to go!). Simply astounding at $49.95!! Velvet-like texture, beautifully integrated boysenberry and red currant, with perfectly dosed French oak notes - toasted vanilla bean, eucalyptus, and dark cocoa powder. Fantastic. Blew us away! While it lasts!

Jaffe Estate was founded by Gary and Pam Jaffe. Two of Gary's enduring passions come together here: a lifelong fascination with astronomy and a love for the Napa Valley that began decades ago. Their beautiful estate vineyard is located on the southern edge of the St. Helena AVA, tucked back near the base of the Mayacamas. It actually borders the Rutherford bench on the south side of the vineyard.
