Senses Chardonnay El Diablo U.V. Vineyard 2018 - First Bottle

Reviews

97 Jeb Dunnuck -
I loved the 2018 Chardonnay UV- El Diablo. This beauty has a wonderfully pure, elegant style that carries both richness and freshness. Giving up notes of white peach, white flowers, lemon blossom, and honeysuckle, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, bright yet integrated acidity, a stacked mid-palate, and a great finish. It shows the more supple, silky style of the vintage and is already drinking nicely, yet I still think it will be even better with another 6-12 months of bottle age. It should evolve nicely for 7-8 years or more.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!

Senses is on fire right now with an all-star team that includes the man behind so many great wines, Thomas Rivers Brown. TRB signed on to make these wines in part because if granted him long-term access to one of the great vineyards in California, the B.A Thieriot vineyard which happens to be owned by one of the proprietors. In addition, they have managed to secure contracts with some of the best growers in Sonoma County, after all, they grew up with these great growers and their families, so the connections were easy to make for this trio of Max, Chris and Myles.

The 2018 Chardonnay is a legend in the making, sourced from the Ulises Valdez vineyard and garnered 97 points from Jeb Dunnuck who was impressed as we were by this wine. "I loved the 2018 Chardonnay UV- El Diablo. This beauty has a wonderfully pure, elegant style that carries both richness and freshness." If you are looking for the latest and greatest from the Sonoma or in California for that matter, look no further than Senses.
