Shared Notes Sauvignon Blanc Les Pierres Qui Decident 2019

Sauvignon Blanc  |  US

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
Jeff and Bibiana have seen it all when it comes to world-class winemaking and world-class vineyards, so it's not a huge surprise when their wines stop us in our tracks but this my friends is something that made us do a double take when Bibiana came to pour this for us. Inspired by the Sauvignon Blancs of the Loire Valley, this channels the wines of Sancerre and Pouilly Fume in a real way. "This is like domestic Dagueneau" Cory Wagner said as he shook his head in disbelief. Aged in 100% new French oak, though not showing it at all, this one of the most impressive Sauvignon Blancs we've tried in some time. This is all about razor sharp lines and beams of grapefruit and crushed rocks. It's long and absolutely a joy to drink. BRAVO!

About the Producer

Shared Notes is the winemaking joint-venture between wife and husband, Bibiana Gonzalez Rave and Jeff Pisoni. Both had early desires of making wine, and spent most of their lives doing so. The year 2012, however, marked the first vintage that they produced together.
