Cheval Des Andes Red Blend Mendoza 2016
$75! For this rare Cabernet/Malbec from Pierre Lurton (Chateau Cheval Blanc)! Jump on it quick, we have just a few cases! Our tiny allocation from France just arrived! Don’t know how many 99-pointers for $75 are out there, and wait until you get into a glass -- wow! Ultra-refined, silky, powerful, mouthcoating and long, this is going to knock you out. Don’t forget to grab a magnum or two, as well! Free ground shipping on 6+ bottles, as always!
The inspiration for Cheval des Andes came from the dream of founder Pierre Lurton to follow the original Malbec vines from Bordeaux to Argentina. When Pierre Lurton discovered the stunning Malbec vineyard of Las Compuertas, planted in Mendoza in 1929, he was immediately captivated, declaring, "This will be a journey to the roots of Bordeaux."
And the critics have agreed. See below! While they last!
