Read
Aromas of dark berry, fresh-cut herbs, cedary oak and gravelly earth are tight and well-centered. Still raw and edgy, but nothing a year or two won`t resolve. Patience required. Best from 2020 through 2033. 4,000 cases made.

The Oakville classic at a great price! The first ever American 100-point wine back in 1985 and still going strong today. Recently number 4 on the Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of 2019, Groth is on a renewed and historic rise to the top of the charts yet again.
About the Producer
Dennis and Judy Groth are natives of the South Bay Area of California and lived there until 1985, when they moved to Napa Valley. In 1981, the Groths purchased a 121-acre parcel in Oakville, and in 1982, they added a second vineyard of 44 acres located south of Yountville. These vineyards, which total 165 acres on the valley floor of Napa, are the primary source of grapes for the Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc wines produced by Groth Vineyards & Winery.
