Domaine Lecheneaut Nuits St. Georges Les Damodes 1er Cru 2014 - First Bottle

Reviews

93 Wine Spectator -
Flamboyant, with sweet black cherry, toasty oak and vanilla flavors married to a supple texture. Just when you think this is all flash and no cash, the dusty tannins appear on the finish. Charming. Best from 2019 through 2033. 25 cases imported.

Check out this killer deal on a NSG from a vintage that is soaring in the glass right now! We popped a bottles of this last week to check up on this all-star (we like to keep track of our babies) and we were blown away. This particular site always delivers powerful and ripe expressions of Pinot Noir and this is definitely no exception. It is ripe and boisterous with a ton of class and goes on for minutes...don't miss out last 2 cases of this gem! 93 points for Wine Spectator to boot! Get some!

About the Producer

During the late 1950’s, Moreysien de souche Fernand Lecheneaut founded the house in Nuits Saint Georges. The domain contained 6 acres of vineyards, divided among Nuits Saint Georges, Chambolle Musigny, and Morey Saint Denis. Additional vineyards were obtained in Nuits and in Vosne and later in Chambolle and Gevrey and most recently the illustrious Premier Crus of Nuits “Les Pruliers” and Morey “le Clos des Ormes”. Organic framing and biodynamic priciples are applied in the vineyard and the winemaking is non-interventional and traditional.
